Sondra Kronberg is the Founder/Executive Director of Eating Disorder Treatment Collaborative and F.E.E.D. (Facilitated Eating Events and Direction) Intensive Out-Patient programs. Sondra is a nutrition therapist with 35 years of experience and a recognized leader in the field. She specializes in the collaborative treatment for the full spectrum of eating disorders including Binge Eating Disorder and Orthorexia. She is a licensed clinical nutritionist, certified eating disorder specialist and collaborative treatment consultant. Sondra is a founding member and media spokesperson of the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA). Sondra is one of International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals, (IAEDP) “influencers”, Certification Core Course instructors and certified supervisors. She is the author of the Comprehensive Eating Disorder Learning/Teaching Handout Series Manual. Contributing author, Nutrition Therapy-Evolution, Collaboration and Counseling Skills in the book, Eating Disorders in Special Populations: Medical, Nutritional and Psychological Treatment. Most currently a consultant for the Carolyn Costin Institute, Sondra received the International Association of Eating Disorder Professional (IAEDP) - Certified Specialist Award, the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) - Excellence in Treatment Award and the Sports and Cardiovascular Nutritionists (SCAN) - Excellence in Practice Award. In 2017, Sondra received NEDA’s first Legacy Award. Sondra presents regularly at national conferences for professionals and the public. She brings awareness to prevention, education and treatment and has appeared on PBS, Good Morning America, ABC, CBS, Fox 5, Dr. Oz, 20/20 and Anderson Cooper.
