Jessi Minneci

Verona Walk Co-Coordinator and NEDA advocate

As the 2023 NJ NEDA Walk Co-Coordinator, I am so honored to be speaking to the New Jersey NEDA Warriors community as a NEDA Advocate! Eating disorders have been prevalent in my life as far back as I can remember, and my journey to 2.5 years of recovery from personal struggles with anorexia and bulimia flourishes each and every day with the help and support of this community! I find strength multiplies when we come together, and the knowingness of never being alone empowers me to extend my hand whenever someone's in need. Thank you to NEDA for putting together such an important event. I look forward to connecting with new friends and allies at the 2023 NJ NEDA Walk.

Marissa Bunnell

In August I was recently diagnosed with an eating disorder. Admitting and realizing that I was struggling and needed help was a very big step for me to open up about. Recovery is not linear and not easy and it is ok to have good and bad days, it’s all part of the process. I am continuing every day to fight back against the negative voice in my head and working toward the road to recovery. I am fundraising for those who have or are currently struggling with this battle. Millions of people struggle with mental health every day and it is a constant battle. Donating to my fundraising page is a way for you to not only show your support for me as I fight on this road to recovery but also to show your support for the millions of individuals and families affected by eating disorders.

Tyler Brunson

Studying at Baruch College to get her Masters in International Affairs, Tyler has her undergraduate degree in Dance from the Joffrey Ballet School. Tyler wants to spread the important message of eating disorder awareness in the dance world.

Martin Munrow

Martin Munroe lives in Bloomfield, NJ. He holds a Ph.D. in Irish Literature from University College Dublin in Ireland. Martin is very active in Alcoholics Anonymous. He is very honored and proud to be speaking at the NEDA Walk Verona.
